    Default American V-2 Challenge Ball

The machine was in really good shape, just needed to be cleaned up and some paint touch up. I mounted it in a cabinet and de-pinned the lock so it could be opened.

On the left set of circle numbers a metal stud was missing, (between the #4 and #14). I made a replacement stud using a carriage bolt of the same size.
I made some translated stickers for the top of the machine, (the blue one above the playfield), and the one on the front door telling how to play.

I added some led's to lite up the playfield, the shooter door window, the coin tray and a couple that lite up the amber colored lens at the top of the playfield when the machine dumps the balls at the start of the game. All the added led's run independent from the power for the machine, using a separate 12V transformer.

I added an extension to the coin overflow chute. When coins overflow they go down the extension, which is centered over a slot in the bottom of the cabinet and fall down into a drawer, that can be opened from the front of the machine.

Wonder why the flags on the playfield only have 44 stars.

Obviously it's celebrating the US between the years 1891–1896!!

Or maybe it was hard to print all 50 in the same space??

    OR..they were bad at counting!!

Really nice machine; good work on the restoration!

How does the "dial" gameplay compare to the more common "grid"?
If you are willing to sell the machine CRアレパチ連発おはな (CR Arepachi Rapidfire Ohana), please let me know!

It's pretty much the same concept as Arrangeball. You are trying to get 4 connecting numbers lit up.

There are 3 pay pockets, ( one top center w/2 openings and one left side center and right center), that light up the center of the dial, (LEFT LUCKY and RIGHT LUCKY). If you light up both LEFT and RIGHT LUCKY, 10 separate numbers (1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15 and 16) all light up. Greatly improving your chance of winning.

I know it's probably hard to believe, but I decided to do a little customizing of the machine by adding some decals/stickers.

I'm now calling the machine Stars & Stripes Betty Boop. I added images of Betty Boop to the playfield and a new sticker below the numbers, at the bottom of the playfield. A new How to Play sticker with Betty Boop logo. By the shooting lever I added some blue stars and another Betty Boop logo.
