    Default Transformer question

Hey I was wondering if anyone knows for sure if I can tap off of this transformer at the 10V lug and also the negative lug or ground screw, to use to power a 10V cooling fan ? I'm assuming that at those locations, where is says the voltages on the label, the corresponding lugs have that voltage comming out of it, I thought I'd ask to be sure. If I'm thinking right, it would be ok and that lug has that voltage.

I agree with what you're seeing on the tag, but I'd still check it with a voltmeter just to play it safe.

should be ok. however that would be an AC output so a standard 12vDC fan will not work. You either need to get a fan thats AC or install an AC-DC rectifier. Its also a good idea/practice to put a fuse inline from 10v output.

Nice catch, I totally missed that.
