Default Satomi Co. Coin Op Nishijin Model A

I purchased a Satomi Co. Coin Op made from a modified Nishijin Model A. This has a tulip reset, a closed off front tray, and it keeps score (with an operator configurable point amount to award a bonus replay).
Most curiously it came with schematics, so I scanned them into a PDF to share here.

When you insert a quarter it pays out three jackpots (15 balls), opens all three tulips, and sets the score to 0. You get 10 points per jackpot with replays awarded every x points (configurable). The button on the bottom "cashes in" a replay.

Here are some pics of the pachinko:

And here is the pdf of the schematics:

If someone wants to take this PDF and post it on the site in the manuals section or wherever else it might be helpful to people, please do. It's the least I can do considering all the great help I've gotten on these forums.

Can I please post this up on my blog? I will link back to this forum.
Also, is page 4 broken for anyone else, or is that just on my computer? The bottom third has been displaced and is a slightly different colour?

Also, I find it very interesting the Satomi Computer Pachinko schematics are with this machine instead, Computer Pachinko by Marvena International.
If you compare the two there are no shared parts beyond recycling a pachinko machine from parlor service. The score framing is different, the replay button is different, the cabinets wildly different.
The implication to me is that when Satomi's Computer Pachinko started coming into North America in 1976 these guys bought one and used the Satomi schematics to make their own domestic model with the out-of-service pachinkos coming into the West Coast by the container-load. (the advent of container shipping was a sea change for so many industries)

Sure you can post it to your blog. Happy for this resource to be out there for whomever can make use of it.

As for the differences, I had assumed Marvena was either a domestic partner or assembled these from purchased Satomi Co kits. It hadn't occurred to me that they were making their own. The others I had seen had 3 digit scores and this one has two digit with a static ones column placeholder. That's different, and I thought maybe it was a replacement, but it also matched the schematic.

Thank you. I have not seen any evidence of Satomi selling kits, but would love to see if you have. There were a number of USA companies, mostly tiny, that made similar coinop modified pachinko machines.
Good to know the schematic matches your machine.

Are you able to fix up the schematics? Page 4 looks wonky to me. I tried it on a different computer, too, so I think it is the file.

Yeah I see it too. Something must have happened with the file. I'll fix that tonight and replace the link. Sorry about that.

By the way, the schematics are all dated. Japanese style date Showa 50 = 1975.

thanks, always happy when people appreciate the site. I wanted a place where I could centralize all of the little bits I find about all of the Japanese machines.
I'd love high resolution shots, as I always want to include the high res images on my blog when possible. But especially of the circuit board.
A gameplay video would be swell, too. It can be a youtube link, or send me the video and I'll upload it. thanks!
