Default Was gifted a Daiichi battle counter but not sure how to set it up

Hi guys, I'm new here and electrical work is not my forte so if I'm missing something obvious that's my bad. So I recently got a CR Madoka Magica machine and the guy I bought it from gave me a Daiichi DLZ-1 battle counter to go with it. I was told it's very easy to set up, but now that I'm actually attempting to set it up I'm so lost. I tried using advice from previous posts but they all show a separate board which I don't have. Do I have to have this board or do I need to strip the wires so they can do into the dip switches?

For that type of data counter you will need a breakout board that splits the white cable in your last photo into three 2-pin connectors with bare wires. I do not know if the board does anything with the signals or how it splits it out.

24V power goes to one of your cables as well.

That white cable looks a little like it might actually be for a pachislo though. I can take a look later to see what cable mine has coming out of the data counter.

Update: The white 7-pin connector is not a pachislo connector as those have 8 pins.

I really don't want to take things apart to the point where I can measure the connectivity of the different wires in order to speculate which wires you'd have to strip and where to put them but if nobody else can help you out I can take a look sometime (or next time I find one of these with a pachinko setup again, because I like them better than the older data counters I still have on 3 of my machines), but it will be a while.

Okay thanks everyone for the responses. I figured I needed the P board but of course didn't realize that until after I got home. Thankfully I have the number of the guy I got it from and will ask him about it. For now I'll just have the battle counter off to the side while I wait for a response.

    UPDATE:

So I reached out to him and he says he has the distribution board and realized he forgot to give it to me. My one worry is he sent a picture and on the bottom right I see パチスロ. Would this work or is this for pachislot only? Resized_20240401_172226.jpeg
