Default Japanese folk tale in center of 1975 Nishijin Model B

I recently read about a vintage pachinko with a Japanese folk tale theme involving a bee carrying a needle, a monkey, a crab, and a rice ball. I have a c.1975 Nishijin Model B with a similar assemblage of what I think may be Japanese folk tale motifs. (see attached image) It includes hands in the clouds, an axe, a stomach or teapot?, a bush or shrub, and what I think may be Ishikawa Goemon being boiled in a pot? (a kind of Japanese Robin Hood) I don't quite understand how the motifs all fit together....can anyone translate the kana on the yellow shape?...any thoughts?

The general view is that its Ishikawa Goemon. My old Japanese teacher confirmed this as well.

Especially as the Kanji say (石川) 五右衛門 being his name
