    Default Ball launch consistency

    Greetings Pachi-People,

I would like to know your experience with consistent shot placement on a vintage pachi.

I added a motor controller to my launch handle so I can position it with high accuracy and have tried a few different spring configurations but the overall placement is still pretty wide. Granted, these are gambling machines so accurate ball placement is not ideal. It seems to me that the launch track angle, how the ball rubs against the play surface/glass are big contributors to accuracy. How the ball lands back on the track after passing the "failed launch" return/hole probably affects position, too.

Curious what you all have seen and experienced.

    Thanks!

Well since 2002 I have played the modern Knob Pachinko machines and getting the "Sweet Spot" on any of the moderns Will vary during play as you do have to change the amount that you turn the play knob but the most Recent pachinko machine have made it harder to keep the "Sweet spot" as the machine will either weaken the ball throw or strengthen it to make it more of a challenge in the parlors that you will Have to pay attention to the game .

I hope this helps with your journey into understanding these Marvelous Machines .

Try out a modern pachinko if you want more consistent ball shooting accuracy; they are far more accurate and consistent than vintage machines. One of the reasons why electric shooter motors have come to dominate 99.9% of a pachinko machines on the market in recent years.
