What does cell only mean?

I found this on buyee.

Cell only means that there is no frame. A pachinko machine consists of a frame with a cell in it. The cell is the actual game, the frame is the power supply, sound board, buttons and controls, etc.

Each cell only works in the type of frame it was designed for.

Vicky Chance is a digipachi designed to emulate the look of a retro arepachi from the 90’s. I’ve got that cell for my Lumina frame.

There’s several “faux” arepachi type that are really digipachi. MoExcite is a newer example.

You need one of the Maturi series of arepachi if want a 2000’s arepachi, The Penguin or Apollo 1.
