Seesaw help needed

I have my Apollo 11 machine put together and have one issue that is kicking my butt. When I get the ball in a payout pocket it doesn’t pay out. I’ve traced the problem to a slightly stiff seesaw. I’ve tried using white lithium grease but haven’t gotten anywhere. I have the brass washers on each side of the seesaw. Any suggestions?

The seesaw is connected with a wire to a lower piece. Check to make sure the wire is not rubbing the nail holding the lower piece and that the lower piece is also moving freely.

Thanks Wayne. The clearance was fine. I fixed it by bending the bracket that holds the seesaw. It works great now.
