    Default Daiichi machine

Hello, i know a little about vintage. Nothing about these.. it seems to work ok but will not pay out balls. Looks like there could be a ball jam. Is there ball dump switch? It looks like a small jackpot level that if i mess with it does release balls through the back only. Thank you for your help.

Daiichi OL倶楽部 or OL Club (OL abbrev for Office Lady)

    I think from 1996

No ball dump for those stuck balls. In the old days. The machine would hold balls internally because it hadn't paid out. Each on of those balls is a winning ball. But couldn't payout due to either error or empty rear tank. So they build up inside and get stuck. there is normally a switch and solenoid at the exit point that releases each ball after a pay out. My old Monaco had a manual release by movign the solenoid. but it only did one ball at a time. Not sure about Daiichi, But sounds like you found something similar.

Only to see why its not payout out.

    ie. Does the motor work.
Do balls make it all the way to the motor.
What triggers a payout and does it work.

to check these things Do i take off the blue cover over the motor Or do i have to take apart the whole back? And what is the small swich to the right of the motor cover It seems like it has something to do with payouts or ball release

Red/g circle is the jackpot payout
the green circle are all winning balls waiting to payout
red arrow.. those tabs may allow you to swing part of the back open

so I don’t know where the ball dump break is on your machine but I’ve use a magnet and paperclips to clear things out and get things moving..
last week I found two dearly departed stink bugs jamming up the works

It’s a start you need to clear the balls no matter
the payout cover should come off.. if it’s working than it’s a ball jam
try to get as many out as you can.. might be wrong size ball baring made its way into machine.
hopefully the jackpot works and than see if the pathway to pay out is clear.. never know but eliminate the obvious

    and biscuits

Well some machines especially early modern pachinko have not been really super documented ............. Yet.

First have a Dedicated work site with plenty of room to move the machine around and have it well lighted and if possible have a large white bath towel to put on your bench in case a clip, screw , or part falls hopefully on the towel .

Take many Good , Clear photos of the machine Before disassembly and when each part is removed so that you know where each part goes on your machine .

And have as many storage bins for parts and keep each assembly parts together and label the bins with blue painters tape and a new sharpie marker .

Last time I was at the food store Glade has bins with lids so the parts don't disappear .

You will be our guide as you "Work the problems" on your machine and we will try to help you along the way .

Here is the only Early Daiichi Modern Pachinko video that I could find on YouTube

I suspect the bottom 2 count during a jackpot. one would count rounds, the other counts how many balls have gone in the trap door.

Chance might be related to a sub oulette function
