I've been working on the frame and door, cleaning/polishing all the hardware. Cleaning and polishing the chrome and plastic parts.

I decided to keep everything pretty much original. Just the custom playfield and upgrade the lighting.

Everything is pretty much done, except for the rear plastic pieces. I still need to take those apart and clean them.

    Here's a couple of pictures.

The original lighting is pretty basic on this machine. On winning balls the center feature would lite up. For the hopper empty, the light in the upper left of the playfield would lite up.

What I will do, is to have the center feature and the light in the upper left lite up on winning balls and for the hopper empty have the light in the upper left flash, ON and OFF.

But, I was thinking it would be nice to have some type of light feature for when the Rolling Stone feature opened up. So, that's what I did.

I added 8 led's to the center feature, that flash when the Rolling Stone feature opens and turns OFF when it closes.

A video of it working. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/4I4yc1rR57I

I did get the rear plastic pieces all cleaned up and the wiring all taken care of.

Here are some before and after pictures and a short video of the gameplay. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/iltJKMXqebU

As always, super nice job Wayne-Ooo. What did you use to get the clear pieces on the rear of the machine so nice looking? I use Novus #2 on mine, but your results are far better looking.

I used to use Novus, years ago, but was to much work.

After the part is cleaned, I use Trim Restorer, by Turtle Wax. I use it on all the plastic parts. Just wipe it on, let set for 5 minutes and wipe off with microfiber cloth. Can't get much easier.

Doing both sides of clear plastic makes it clear as glass.

With the rear plastic pieces being clear, it is kind of interesting to watch everything work.

Thanks for the info Wayne-Ooo, yeah, Novus is a bit of effort, I'm definitely gong to give the Turtle Wax Restorer a try.

Love the videos too, watching the balls move through the machine is mesmerizing.
