I love when we have such smart people here that with a little pause in thought come up with solutions to problems .

Cleaned it up a bit tonight. I plan on swapping one lead and will only have 2 jumpers..

Tested every thing and it's working good.. so time to alter the 3d files so I have a proper container for the board..

I have a couple of ideas that will make it simpler to assemble..

I may have to pick this up again, i have all the parts and drawings and now i have the time.. I did build a load cell method to count the balls but i really like the feel and noise this one makes..

Have you tried the Nextion Display connected to an arduino/ESP32. if fitting into a case all you need is a connector for the sensors, and power. Then the screen. Removing the need for a reset button. You could configure the value to change colour as the amount of balls increase, or like a parlour, count in batches of 10, 20 etc and refund the spares. As the programing is done on the display, all the arduino has to do is send the current ball count to the display via a 4 core wire (2 being power) Plenty of tutorials on YT. I think the newer ones have video capability as well. (maybe sound )

Ya I have played with a bunch of displays for the arduino and esp's there are a ton of options but cost is the real consideration..

Thats the only bad thing about the nextion is the cost. I'm using one to control my automatic door via an ESp32. also planned is control of the video wall, Blu-ray player, amp and hopefully add crdet and feed back from the pachis.
