Although it’s much easier and cheaper to just buy a Daverob dongle card reader emulator and a card reader. So don’t have to mess with coins. Plug and play!

There is one on YJA at the moment.

    https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp...on/k1076838683

Give me a day and I should be able to post links to ex parlour equipment dealers.

    Note.

It's 25 balls per ¥100. Set by the gears in side and not changeable.

Many types to choose from. Just avoid the prepaid card ones, probably best to avoid ones that take notes as well.

These type don't require power and purely gravity fed. How ever. Getting balls single file from a storage tank into the machine is the hardest part.

I modified one years ago to have a coin less payout using a cheap 555 timer board and the electric solenoid out of an electric strike. Mind you. Then I connected that to a daverob dongle with card reader to remove credits off a daverob smart card system.

I prefer the ones with the ball chute straight to the front tray

oof many of those are sold out

the coin ones all have "use at your own risk; may not work" which isnt every comforting

will see how much the yahoo one ends up costing and will adjust future purchases from those other sites, etc.

    thanks!

As as I'm aware. They are gravity feed. There is an internal switch that counts how many times they have paid out 25 balls.

yes i took it apart and the little cable is the counter.
i am going to need to take it to a pinball person to look over and repair. $$

right now it dispenses balls - as many as are in the hopper - even when no coin has been used. all the gears look okay so not sure where the hiccup is.

    - such is the case sometimes with this hobby.

Yep, yahoo auctions is always a toss of the dice! Might be worth checking with Karen or Aki at JT Comatz to see if they have any reliable source or recommendations since they have technicians who can test such things and are experienced with all things pachinko before shipping to the US. Having a contact that knows pachinko associated paraphernalia, (and English) is invaluable!

I know they sell battle counters, bulk balls/tokens, cabinets, seat covers, flags, unsure if ball dispensers are something they would deal with or not though? I like to keep it simple with my foolproof Daverob dongles and optional card readers! Plug and play is more my speed!

To test it.and see how it works. You really need to get hold of a ¥100 coin. But the basic is there is a stop lug on one of.the gears. That's held in place by a lever that's triggered by the weight of the coin.
