Where is a good place to purchase a 120v to 24v step down transformer with 5-10Amp output?

Hey guys! 🙌🏼 Based on what I've seen on other posts, I'm wondering if a transformer with a 10 amp output is the way to go? 🤔 Let me know your thoughts in the comments below! ⬇️ Quick question: Can too much current fry your electronics?

10 amps at 24 VAC is more than enough and won't hurt anything. There is a fuse after the transformer that will pop if your machine shorts out and draws to much of that. In theory it would work fine with a 24VAC 1000 amp transformer however that would be a dangerous wattage to short before the fuse.

Looking to combine multiple outputs in parallel to achieve the necessary amperage?

Yep. a lot of transformers availble in the UK are either 2x12v or 2x24v. then connect the outputs to get the right voltage or amperage. I think all of my standalone transformers are like that.
