Default Evangelion 2018 Reborn issues -- I seek guidance

    Dears,

    I ve recently bought an Evangelion 2018 reborn and I am having some troubles in figuring out how to make it work properly;

    Here some details:

    1. I installed a 220v/24v 9.5A

    2. I Made a CR bypass myself as explained here

This eliminated the error 8 from the board

    3. Filled up the jackpot chamber with 11mm pachinko balls still tank was full

    4. Added balls in the front

    5. The shooter is working and seems like the pachinko's base operations work correctly

    except for

    A. The whole pachinko is flashing white and red

    B. There are a few numbers showing up on the mainboard (I attach video):

I hope someone can help me and guide me through the troubleshooting

It definitely seems like it has an error that needs to be cleared.. Hopefully someone will be by soon than can be more helpful with this newer machine!!

I couldn't tell from the video..Is it paying out when you get a ball in the start pocket??

Also, nice clear pics of the whole front and back are often helpful!!

Probably needs a reset, like Pachislo machines do after not being powered on for awhile.

Check with the vendor you purchased it from, probably a button or series of buttons need to be pressed to clear this out.

Ditto. Is there a ram reset button on the back somewhere?

Thank you all. I tried many times to reset the RAM by holding down the button and turn on the machine and wait for a few seconds. When I do, it stops flashing white and gives me a solid white color for a couple of minutes then back to flash again.

Is it paying out when you get a ball in the start pocket??
I don't really understand; The winning balls adds up only digitally on screen at the bottom right but not physically coming out from anywhere if it's the question.

Sorry, really new to Pachinko and still trying to figure things out...I also asked the seller but his English is very limited and also stopped replying me..-.-

Thanks a lot everyone for your help!

Next. I would see if there is a change or alarm when you open the door or glass.

No alarm, no messages. The pachinko keeps playing when the door is opened.

That sounds a little odd. It might not be the issue. But its worth checking it out.

also after re-reading about the lack of payout. Double check that the balls are flowing all the way from the rear tank to the payout motor and, the ball stop isn't in place. and the ball dump is correctly located.

As I don't have this frame. I don't know their postion or how they operate. Sorry.

Start pocket hits only payout 3 balls. so if the front tray is full. It can be hard to spot. I always do it by removing the front glass (Some are easier than others) Shut the door then drop a ball in the pocket while the front tray is empty and confirm a 3 ball payout.

If you can post on this Thread nice clear photos of the Front ,Back, and photos of the trouble area's will help us help you .(We Really Like Photos Here )

You might have a ball jam somewhere in the back of the machine . You wouldn't believe what strange things have been found in the ball tracks of the machine's .

You got a 2019 P Neon Genesis Evangelion Sito, Shinsei G. It’s more or less a fortune frame with a fancy door.

That code on back is a game performance counter that every P model pachinko has.

bL: ratio calculated off winning & played balls since start-up.
b1-b3 are long running ratios. After something like 6,000 balls it moves to b1, 6,000 more b2, etc.

Good news is that’s not related to your problem.

It’s really strange to me that balls aren’t being paid out, yet there’s no error code. It will most certainly throw an error code if winning balls can’t be dispensed. Is it possible your machine was modified to not pay out? If so look there.

If you leave the machine idle for 5min and the lights stop, check the out-ball sensor.

    Good luck!

I heard that you guys like pictures so I took some pics and videos:

    https://1drv.ms/u/s!AkkrUeTzpjcKiaJe...rW0Zg?e=joZ3AV

Double check that the balls are flowing all the way from the rear tank to the payout moto
I tested the machine and it pays 1 ball no matter if the ball hits the middle or fall to the side, when the ball drops in the back, 1 new ball drop in the tray and the balls in the back tank move down by one.

If you leave the machine idle for 5min and the lights stop, check the out-ball sensor.
I left the machine on for 1 hour and it's still flashing.

I contacted the seller with no luck..

Do any balls fall out the back of the machine? Do you have a tub back there to catch them.

I'm sure others know what I'm getting at.

Although I have never had a P machine. I'm sure it follows standard payout although I can't see clearly in the pictures. 3 balls is normal.for a start pocket and 10 for a side pocket with 15 for the jackpot door. In the top right of the playing field. You should be able to see a small label. It lists the machine name and version. Payout percentage and balls won per pocket.

In addition. Find the payout motor on the rear on the right hand side. Follow the cables all the way back till where they plug into one of the main boards.

I’m confused; does the machine pay out balls (to the front tray; not fall out the rear) when you score in the start pocket?

You should hear the payout motor and hear the winning balls drop to the front tray. Make sure it doesn’t have a reset key too; I have a P model in the Sankyo Fortune frame that has a special reset key Sky Racer

Have you reset with the back key?
    Turn off machine.
Open machine on hinge an inch or so.
    Insert and turn back key.
Hold RAM reset button in and power on.
Hold button till screen shows settings are updated.
Then turn rear key back to left and close front.
    You should be reset.

Well unless its a ball clogged?

    Good luck!

I checked anywhere but there is no key lock for the ram reset with key. In the place shown by @lotsoballs there is a imbued plastic space but no key hole.

I also attach the model name and winning probability

    PayProbability.jpg

This is the CR bypass I made

Sometimes the the ball launcher doesn't work and the balls drop randomly in the front tray...

So all waste balls. Go out the back. From any pocket or the hole at the bottom of the playfield. That's good

Did you follow the payout motor wiring..

So you’re saying it does not pay out at all then if balls are ONLY falling out the back…

If it were paying out balls would fall to the FRONT tray; not the back. (Those are lost/wasted balls that go back to the parlor/house, not winning payout balls)

Not all machines have a key to reset; it’s a newer feature.

Was it shipped in packing peanuts? Those can find their way through the ball tracks and clog up the payout motor and gear. I’d try to remove the payout motor mechanism; see if it’s clogged, and double check it’s operating when a ball goes into the start pocket. (You should see and hear the motor turn the gear to payout balls)

I am not sure which one is the payout motor, I took a video of the wireing, hopefully is clear enough...

So you’re saying it does not pay out at all then if balls are ONLY falling out the back…
The wasted balls drop to the back, the winning ball are paid in the tray, I think it can be seen this video:

    https://1drv.ms/v/s!AkkrUeTzpjcKiaJ6...Y7v3g?e=IYydF3

Was it shipped in packing peanuts?
It was shipped in bubble wrap

Sometime the ball launcher doesn't have the strenght to throw the ball, could it be linked to the problem?
