Pachislo JPS 2027X code error

It's been a long time since I wrote (my machines are fine) but here I'm helping a friend.
His pachsilo is a 2008 model from JPS, the 2027X.
Recently, it rings at startup, with an error 5E and displays an error message (system error 1 apparently). He has already done a reset but on restarting, same problem. Does anyone know this error code? If so, what should be done?

I hope you had a good Christmas.
My friend does the reset well and the pahcislo works. But when he turns it off and restarts it, it rings again and the machine is blocked, with the message shown above.
Is there a problem with the battery that no longer retains the changes? If so, where is the backup battery located?

It definitely sounds like either a battery or capacitor not holding power anymore.. Sorry, I don't know where those are located!!
