Default Are differences Between Pachinko models similar to how Pinball machines differ

    Saw this post on Reddit.

    https://www.reddit.com/r/pinball/com...inball_tables/
So I am curious about the differences between machines. Are they the same as the differences between Pinball tables that posters in the above link commented?

Well pachi machines can vary day to day depending if someone has been playing with the nail angle. So it might be harder to analyse like that. Also I expect pinball tables have different qwerks as well. Like flipper size, angle of table. Force and shape of bumpers etc. Does a pinball player prefer one table no matter where it is (ie the same model anywhere)

There can be setup differences between individual pins, mostly playfield angle, some adjustable posts, and settings for scoring/replay. Most of the other issues (broken parts, coil strength, flipper length, bumpers, etc) aren't really meant to be variables. Generally, if a machine is in good working order most players like/dislike the same model no matter which instance of it they find.

As a concrete example, Stern Godzilla (2021) is pretty universally praised. There are even different trim levels with some differences in play, and most pinball fans treat them all as fairly equivalent.

Most pachis aren't really skill based like pinballs are, so while pachis can be more or less fun to play they aren't generally going to have vastly different Ways to play with different rules and skills to learn like pinball!!

Pachinko you have Less control of the Silver Spheres .

But the Reaches and the Fevers can be fun and the Music can be rather enjoyable.

And the sparkling lights and the anticipation of winning can be highly Addictive.
