Terry, your description of when you get the CR failure in post #39 absolutely sounds like a bad photosensor on the coin sensing board. Mine did the exact same thing before I replaced them with new parts. I believe I replied to you about this on a prior support thread: https://www.pachitalk.com/forums/sho...l=1#post629780

Hello Fever Hunter, I'm sorry I overlooked this the first time. I took the coin acceptor out but I don'tknow how to replace the sensor. I mean I've never messed with circuit boards. Is there any way you could replace the sensor for me? I will pay for parts,shipping and your time. LMK thanks.

Sorry if I got your name wrong. After taking a closer look at the acceotor, it looks to me like there is 2 side by side touching each other.Looks like each one has 5 little wires going through the circuit board. So I guess I need both replaced?

The use of a soldering iron and either a solder sucker or solder braid to remove the old solder, then put the new one/ones in. To to the same age of them. I would probably replace both sensors, whilst the board is out.

Yes, I would agree with Drunkenclam. Purchase a few and replace them both. Sorry, but I cannot help on this one. My work schedule is very busy right now. It's an easy fix, I'm sure you can do it (or find someone local who can.) Wishing you the best.

Or a local tv/electrical repair place. Your not asking to diagnose the fault. Just change a few (through hole) components. The fact your supplying the parts means they should be able to do the job in 10 minutes.

of course. Worst case. Buy a replacement token mech. But then you are still relying on 20 year old ish components.

Hey Guys, just thought I would update on my cr code error dilemma. I ordered the replacement photosensors and found a radio/tv guy to put them in for me. I'm happy to report the machine is back up and running. I even found out the name of the machine is" Super Bingo". Going to give the cabinet a fresh coat of paint and it will look great. Thanks to everybody who got involved and helped me with it,I couldn't have done it without you. Merry Christmas to all!
