Question Creidts to play Charles angels / general directions

I just got a Charle's angels pachislo. The previous owner said you have to play 3 credits. When you push 1 or 2 credits the light for one or 2 credits light up but the start light wont light and pushing the spin reels knob down does nothing, intill you push the max bet button or insert 3 tokens and push it.
Is there a way to change the amount of creidits needed to play?

I figured out how to change the payout odds but don't see any other buttons. There is a switch on the power supply I discovered that has the coin hopper spit out all the coins. There are two slide switches on the bottom of the power suply that I'm not sure what they dot but don't appear to change the credits.

Hi Mike, Welcome to pachitalk. The quick answer is no. None of the pachislos that I am aware of have that option. They are either factory set to play multiple credits or not.

    WELCOME!!!

    What rockston said!!

It can be very confusing because MANY of this era of pachislo used the same cases for 123 bet and max bet machines and as you've seen, the buttons even work, but a max bet machine can only be played with 3 credits!!

    and ginger snap cookies

As I recall the old "One Arm Bandit " you could bet the "Line" with up to Five lines criss crossing the three drums to increase your odds of hitting three match .

With the Japanese Skill Stop Slots just retained the three line just for show.

So yes , for every Spin it takes Three Tokens .

I thought that maybe was the case since it has alot more going on when you play it. It's like when you play the newer machines with bonus games if 3 credits aren't played you don't get to play the bonus if you hit the right combo.
The reason I got it was for the bonus game. My wife always likes to try to hit them to play the games. I hope she likes her christmas present :-).

Prior to this one a month ago I won a Supper bunny girl at a estate auction. That has the 3 line's marked on the glass. 1 credit pays middle line only. 2 credits got you the top and bottom lines also and 3 diagonal across all 3 reels.
