Default Just picked up my first pachi machine but need help

Hopefully somebody will be able to help me out, but picked up a nishijin metal army pachinko machine and everything works so far except the screen, the unit turns on and you can shoot the balls and get jackpots and the sound also works but when it comes to the screen the only thing it does is the backlight or light lights up the screen but no graphics show up on it. I checked the connection they all look solid and plugged in correctly but don't know much past that so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here are pictures of the front, back, back of the screen and the LED indicator. Pictures aren't the absolute greatest so if there's anything specific that needs to be pictured let me know.

I don't see anything popping out at me at first glance but wait a day or two for some of our more educated members on this machine to comment on this Thread .

Many thanks for posting the photos for we here really Love seeing photos of machines to get our creative juices flowing.

If it helps any the back jackpot tray isn't completely full so I'm not sure if that would trigger something like this or if that doesn't matter much. I know the LED indicator flashes 0 than switched to the ball tray empty error after winning 1 jackpot.

Your right their is almost always a switch for the back top ball tray and yes there is a back top tray micro switch so you need more balls up there.

Would that cause the screen to not go on though?

Those old CRT screens fail pretty frequently. They aren’t cheap to repair, so have to make hard decisions on is it worth paying more than the machine might be worth to fix it… how much is it worth to you vs buying a newer working machine?

So more than likely the CRT failed? If that's the case I already have another machine lined up to buy this weekend for not much more than I picked this one up for. But as long as I can still technically "play" it it'll be just a display piece or something to pass the time if that makes sense.
