Original Biohazard Boot Issue

Hi, I need some help.

I own an original 4 reel Biohazard machine. The game turns on, the lights boot up, but the machine seems to not actually boot.

The game screen seems to be stuck on a black screen. I can access the menu and there is visual on the screen, the game says something in Japanese when the game turned on. something like tobia ditakmas? twice.

From the game working in the past thats normal, but the game usually displayed a logo and then booted.

Unforunately when I bought the game i was unaware it had been modified to not take tokens. -_- not happy about that, and it complicates diagnosing the issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried a full/odds reset?

It says that twice then I shut the door. Far as I know that isn't whats causing the machine to not boot. I'll get a video of whats going on and post that tonight.

The video of whats going on. I have not tried a reset on it as I don't know how to do that.

Tried a full reset. None of the LED screens did anything. It's almost like the game is turned on but not responding to anything outside of the game menu.

Hum , maybe someone with the Four Drum Biohazard can do a step to step with their machine but it has been modified by the former owner so undoing the modifications and getting the correct tokens bin might get the machine back up.

Have you tried to get the start up sequence from the former owner?

I had factory correct Four Drum Biohazard but one of our members wanted to play one and I have so many machines I let them "Adopt" it (a small $$$ was exchanged) for if you get something Free you don't take care of it like the one you pay full price .

Yeah the catch is I bought it from a dodgy seller on Ebay. To their credit it worked out of the box, so it wasn't like they sold me a none working machine.

I turned it off let it sit for a while and then it doesn't seem to want to boot properly. Am I missing a step when I turn it on? Open door flip switch to the power supply?
