Sadly, Heiwa's with the B-1f control box are known to stop shooting balls.. Something in that blue box needs replacing, but I don't think anyone has figured it out yet..

Unfortuatly those with electronic knowledge have never had a chance to look at one of these machine with the b1f board. It what controls the shooter. It might be a failed component. But which one is known.

Although check everything. Will the back up with balls. When you put a ball in the start pocket. Does it payout anything?

When I put a ball in one of the win holes, it goes to the back down to the bottom and just sits there nothing happens to indicate that anything has been won. But if I put one in the special slot lights go on different things come up on the screen but it doesn’t pay out any balls

Does this machine need a bypass dongle for the motor to work? I can help you if you are OK doing a video chat on Facebook Messenger. Let me know. I PMed you my personal info.

No. Its a pre CR machine. All shooter functions are controlled by the B1f board. If has 2 pots on it. One is sensitivity, the other is force.

Check for ball jam or objects blocking the ball paths to the payout motor mechanism. Or maybe there’s a ball flow blocker in the down position? Although if the shooter doesn’t work due to a bad shooter control board; you obviously won’t be able to play it anyway without that working. Unless you converted to a manual flipper somehow.

It may have been converted to cyclic which means payouts are disabled so it can be played with just a few balls.

I’ve seen them for sale on yahoo auctions but would probably cost more than you paid for the whole machine in the US. Not a common part either. I would avoid this frame just because it’s such an unreliable design though.

Going by this ended auction listing

the board also controls payouts. It says that they changed the main capacitors. If your skilled with a soldering iron. It might be worth a try.

Let's start with asking if the payout motor is running on the back. Do you hear any sounds from the bottom right (when looking at it from the back)? A motor should be running down there. Are there any cables unhooked?
