Understanding pachislo strategy book - SUPER FUKUNOKAMI

I have a SUPER FUKUNOKAMI machine and I have been struggling to understand how the gameplay works and in general how you should play a machine. I find many strategy guides for machines but the translations are cryptic if you dont understand general pachislo gameplay concepts first. Would someone be able to please explain a bit how to understand these guides and what the graphics mean. In specific im very confused about the last page with all the figures of the reels (that page seems to be on all machine guides).

All I have been able to translate and understand so far from the guide and google japan searches is that after one BIG bonus you are basically entitled to two more. But what I should be doing or aiming for on the way to a bonus is where im confused. Any info would help me so much, thanks.
