    Default Tanukichi user manual

Hello! Long time vintage Pachinko user first time posting. I just picked up a used tanukichi electric Pachinko machine but not sure how to use it for gameplay strategies. Of course everything is in Japanese. Wondering if anyone has a user manual or help me to understand gameplay besides the obvious get the balls in the baskets and win more balls. I know more modern machines has interactive activities and this does have a chance button but not sure how or what any of these things do. Also trying to figure out how to dispense Balls to the front area from the back without manually grabbing balls and throwing them in there. I know in my 1974 Super Deluxe there is a lever that I pulled to release balls from the back into the front. Wondering if there is something like that for this. Also wondering about a volume control I do not see that unless it is listed in Japanese which of course I do not speak. Any help would be much appreciated. Any user manual information would also be very much appreciated! Thank you!

Many thanks for taking the time to post the photos

Ball loan screen on the front feed tray and those two buttons Underneath it you need a

    Daverob Dongle

    To make it work .

Then you need a Ball Lifter for the back of the machine to feed the "Lost" balls to the Top feeder tray

They sell them on eBay around $ 500.00 plus shipping

Thanks. I am especially trying to figure out how to get balls to return from the back to the front without manually grabbing them from that top tray. It seems the top trade does not dispense to anywhere. Maybe the card system would allow those balls to be dispensed? I found a serial connector but it has something black already in it not sure what that is. There are also a few other switches and things in the back that I have no idea what their purpose is. I have played the game and see that the numbers are accumulating next to the left most button but when I press that button it only releases balls in my front tray out to the bottom of where I suppose there should be a receptacle but isn't. No balls go from the top loader in the back to the front tray you play from. The other two buttons have Japanese letters but don't seem to do anything and then it says card reader next to that. There is a button above the firing knob but that button only seems to stop the firing knob from stopping it doesn't seem to do anything else. Very confused. Do I need one of those card readers or emulators to be able to send those prize balls in that little window next to that left a button to the front? I'm sorry I am not on Facebook or social media so I cannot respond in that way. Probably better to respond through this thread so that anyone else that could 20220910_153726.jpg20220910_153722.jpg20220910_153730.jpg20220910_154039.jpg20220910_154053.jpg20220910_154100.jpg20220910_154117.jpgpossibly be interested would be able to follow. The top tray in the back is the casinos prize tray that pays the winnings, balls are routed to the shooter tray when you win. Get that working first, the tray needs to have enough balls in it for the machine to operate.

Yes I figured that thank you. The question is how do I get the balls to go from that tray to the front tray. As of now that little number says over 500 winning balls but somehow they are not dispensed. Any idea how to get that to move from the back to the front? Thanks for the reply

Are you saying the machine doesn’t pay out balls at all? If so, there’s a ball flow blocker on some machines near the upper hopper; check for that then check for ball flow blockages; you may need to remove the payout motor mechanism and make sure there’s no ball jam and clean the tracks. Hopefully it was not converted to cyclic with payouts disabled.

Yes there are no ball payouts at all. That top Hopper is completely full but they never go anywhere. I just grab a handful and bring it into the front ball play area. That is some great advice thank you I will try and take that portion apart tomorrow if there isn't any obvious blocker or obstruction that I see. There is that yellow toggle switch on the vertical black apparatus that that Hopper drains into. I know from the pictures it is hard to see that it is a switch but it can be flipped right and left. I will see if that releases the balls maybe that is the problem. Thank you so much for the great advice I would appreciate it and I will let you know what I find. Thank you for the interest

Okay figured it out. This shoot from the top Hopper may have been misaligned and there was a red label in between those yellow arrows. I shifted the shoot up and then the balls dropped into that dispenser. And the blue label is aligned between the arrows. The balls were dispensed either to the bottom back collection bin or the front play hopper depending on which way that yellow slider was oriented.when balls were dispens3d as rewards the number on the ball.reward counter were counting down, so all makes sense now. Thank you all for your help..a great resource for all us pachinko buds!
