    Default Identifying modernish Daiichi machine

Hey, recently got into pachinko machines.

To the dismay of my wife, i've acquired 4 this week.
    Two type-a Nishijins
    One type-b

And then there's this Daiichi machine I'm trying to identify. It seems to be Dororo themed passed that I am unsure.

I'd like a service manual or any tips as far as how I can modify it to afford more payouts.

    Thanks in advance!

    Thanks guys.
It's fully functional, though I'd like to increase the win rate.

I may pull the eeprom, dump it and see if I can increase it they way.

It might be just a tad bit less work to just open the nails to the jackpot holes

Easier in a way yes, though that will not increase jackpot odds. Dumping the eeprom doesn't take long, parsing the bin file may be a pain though.

The variable force on this unit is not working, looking at the back of the knob assembly i'm not sure if something is missing or what.

The cam is rotated all the way to lock and does not move the roller it's against.

Anyone have an idea of whats wrong here?

Opening up the nails will definitely increase your odds of getting a jackpot over time which I assume is your goal. It also
will reward you with more balls in your shooter tray over time. Additionally, It will keep you more amused with more frequent
reaches. I would say bending the nails is a massively easier road than what you are proposing.

However if you have the skills, I highly encourage you to try and reprogram the RNG. If you get in that deep you should have no trouble installing your own video and sound files. That would be way cool and I look forward to your success !

Cam is isnt OBVIOUSLY broken. It appears fine, but may be broken
The flat portion touches the "stop" button to the right without an issue.

And rocksten, depends on what all I'm able to pull from the eeprom, I'll have to double check the chipset on this unit as often media and the main program are stored seperately, but yes I should be able to do that.

That cam is maxed out as if someone is twisting and holding the shooter fully to the right “wide open”. The spring should pull it back automatically. Maybe the spring is just worn out/stretched? Not enough tension?

Does the cam not rotate at all when you twist the handle? (It should)

Not ever having owned one of these machines I can only go by the picture provided.

I assume the cam is connected to the back of the knob. When the knob is turned it pushes against the nylon roller on the left and that causes the metal rod to move to the left.
the direction is reversed through the clear lever and pushes the white rod to the left. Causing the spring to stretch and give more power to the hammer as it springs back.
If non of that assembly is moving. It may just be jammed, or gunked up.

Or as LoB said. The spring could be knackered.

I’ve got a Fruit Passion kenrimono in this frame.

The cam looks fine. The spring in mine is a bit worn; sometimes the shooter knob gets stuck and doesn’t reset back; not a great shooter design on this one. I need to find a newer/tighter spring I think. Mine works fine otherwise; besides it gets sticky sometimes.

Any chance you can spin it around and get a picture of the launch mechanism? I think the springs fine.
