bellco bingo slot machine has error code of Cr

my bellco super bingo / i have done all the resets that i can and no luck ,,,,,the code comes up (Cr) which i cant find in the manual or online,,,,,, starting to think that IMG_1917.jpg the display might have a (im gonna call it lcd) bad number display because i dont know what there called but i think its bad and really displaying another number ?

anybody know where to find one ?

not making much progress with this machine -is there a way to do an hard reset on it like with a ram clear eprom dont know much about this machine

Why do you think the display is bad?

CR is a valid error code. You won't find any information from the manufacturer online or in a manual. They never released any info.

A hard reset should clear the code. But, if the photo sensor is bad, you will get the error again once you insert a token.

Owning a Bellco Double Chance, I can confirm the "Cr" code is related to the photosensors in the coin slot track. I had to replace both of mine. Thankfully, it's a common replacement part. If you want to send your board to me, I would be happy to test it in my machine and repair it for you if needed (you supplying parts of course Simply PM me and I'll supply a shipping address. FYI: small burn spot seems like a red herring. There is not a lot going on with this board, but I know how helpful it is to have a working reference machine.

i bought new pickups and put them on ,,,but im not very good at it .....ill send the board to if you could check it out for me ,still getting code cj after i installed new pickups,,,,,,what i thought was a burn turned out to be a drop of dirty flux i dropped on it,,,,

The parts look identical, but they provide the opposite signaling. Looks like no good deed goes unpunished
