Frozen nights no sound please help

I recently bought a frozen nights machine that has no sound the woman I bought it from said her husband disabled the sound but the speakers are plugged into the board I’ve checked the speaker terminals with a digital multi meter and wasn’t getting any voltage is there a fuse or something that I’m missing any help will be appreciated
