Default New guy question- daido top gun machine

Got this unit the other day and have been able to work out many of the kinks. Problem I can’t figure out is the hopper issue I am having with the ch-700f hopper.

whenever it is supposed to payout. It throws an error code.
if I let it do it’s thing (mind you it doesn’t power up)
I get an e-2 after a few seconds. I have tested the power to the motor during this and get no voltage when I am expecting voltage.

I have also put a token into the payout slot and that immediately shows an e-3 error.

finally if I disconnect the hopper I get an e-4 error.

seems to me the hopper is being recognized by the unit. And I have not tested the motor itself because I found no voltage to it when testing during payout.

    so I am stumped.

any help with this would be appreciated.

    thanks

Leaving the hopper aside for a bit.

I assume you have done a full reset.

it goes into error as soon as you put a token in?
suspect one of the sensors in the token mech has failed and the machine isn’t reading the sensor inputs correctly.

    Hopper

You didn’t say if it actually pays out tokens before the error occurs. But I’m guessing as you say you aren’t getting power. The answer is no.

Goes into error when disconnected. Might be because its not seeing the token exit sensor on the hopper and nothing to do with the motor.

Can you taken the hopper out and test the motor with a 6-12 vdc power supply. To make sure thats working. Take care as it can fire a token out with some force.

Not sure on this model. But the power for the motor is from the main psu box. Check condition of connectors. Make sure they are solid. No damaged cables or bent pins in the sockets/plugs. Check and reseat the main cable from the processor and psu.
