Magic pulsar lost lcd screen

Hello sorry to be a pest I’ve been checking the other topics to try to find my problem to no avail I just purchased a NeoMagic Pulsar when I bought it everything was fine the yellow LCD screen was working and showing frogs and different things upon the screen I put it in my home set it up not sure if I shook it or jarred it to watch but now the screen doesn’t come on at all when I turn the machine on or otherwise have tried receding the connectors checking for crud in the connectors can’t seem to figure this out at first I thought I change the setting somehow but I can’t pull up any screens With it of any kind it doesn’t come on when the machine comes on or at any time later any help would be appreciated if I have to get a new screen I guess I just need to know where to purchase it not trying to be a pest any help would be appreciated. Just noticed on the back of the screen inside the door a small red light is illuminated at the bottom of the screen backplate not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing

Red wire is usually the "Hot" wire that has power

Hey don't be thinking that you are a pest, we're here to help everyone if able. We all started somewhere and we all learn new things about how different machines work.

I know there is an internal power plug for the yellow screen. I think it's in between a couple parts in the lower half of the door. I'll check further when I get home later.

Last things first, the red light and two more to the right of it are lit up on my machine.

As for the yellow overlay screen I forgot it does randomly run when the machine is idle. I haven't had mine on in some time. In your picture there is the clear box. Unplug and reconnect the three wire connectors going into it. If I unplug the lower left one or the lower right one then I loose the yellow screen.

Also check the 6 wire plug above the clear box with the 1 red and 5 orange wires.

Ok this is weird. As I was re-seating plugs, I tilted the lcd screen up from the bottom and found that two of the wires going to the screen on a ribbon cable had been cut or broke in the exact same place. And, they were spliced back together with crimp connectors about 10 times too big for the repair. It almost looks deliberate? Is this something people do to disable the screen? Anyway, not sure if that was the issue as I re-seated everything twice, but after repeatedly moving the repaired wires up down backwards and forwards and restarting the machine 3 times the screen came back on. Thanks to everyone for the help!!! Also, can we post video here. Again, thanks for everything… until the next disaster lol

Sounds like someone attempted a repair not knowing what they were getting into.
