Do you still have the file you used for printing? If so would you be willing to share it?

Sorry, but there is no file.

I search for pictures on the internet and print them on photo paper. Cut out the pictures and glue them to a background.

Kind of like a decoupage. I take the decoupage playfield to the local print shop and they scan it and print me a smooth playfield.

I decided to change the playfield on this machine. I know, surprise.

The original was in fairly good shape, with no water stains, just a little faded. But, it wasn't doing anything for me and I decided to go with something custom, but wanting to keep with the "space theme", as the playfield pieces were space themed.

So, keeping with the space theme, I decided on Marvin the Martian.

    Decided Marvin needed some LED's.

I mean, "why not". All I had to do was completely remove everything from the playfield, Including the playfield, (I just put on) to install them. Mount/install the LED's and put a new playfield back on and all the playfield pieces, nails and rails.

Wasn't to bad, though. Only took about 1/2 day.

Nice touch Wayne-Ooo, looks good. How did you install the LED's so as not to affect the ball passing over them & how did you power them?

I drilled the holes the size of the led's. On the back side of the playfield board, I drilled a larger hole so the circuit board holding the led would fit into and at a depth that left the led just short of protruding the surface.

I glued on the new playfield and punched open the led holes. I then put on the Dur-lar, which makes a clear covering over the holes, leaving a smooth surface for balls to pass over.

The led's are held in the holes with a couple of drops a contact adhesive on the circuit board. The larger holes are covered with 2 layers of shipping tape, to keep the winning balls from going into them.

The main circuit board for the led's is attached to the board with 3M mounting tape and the wires are incased in a housing to give it a "cleaner look".
