I hope its successful. Could be a bargain or an expensive long term project. if you want to list the shipping costs and size of
package, it may be helpful to others. Of course if you want to keep that private. I understand. Speaking of which. As this is an older machine. It might weigh less than 30kg. So you might qualify for
surface shipping. But bare in mind. I’ve been waiting for 3 months for a small box to arrive in the UK from Japan using Surface shippinng.

the owl machine is the better of the two in terms of shape and is more interesting. the other one is pretty crusty and i'd be surprised if it works.
jason, were you able to find out if the owl machine was working at all? the proxy bidder i used to use would ask questions on my behalf. started doing that after i got burned by a nonfunctioning machine from YJA.

i meant having the proxy bidder ask the seller questions directly, which of course the seller may then post those questions. I’ve had them take additional pics, provide some background, etc but sometimes they don’t respond at all.

no questions - this is a learning experience for me!
the machine is being sent to the shipping center and then I'll be presented with options on how to get it here to Toronto. once here, I'm sure I'll make a post about it before doing anything since I know I'll need a power transformer...

the item was purchased for $16. Shipping option is via EMS for $300. I had the option for "protective packaging" for $15.
all told this item will cost me about $350, will take about a month to get to me, and then we'll see what I have.
