    Default Completed My Sankyo Resto

My first Sankyo restoration, pretty happy with the outcome, it's only the 2nd machine I've ever worked on. Lots of cleaning and polishing, converted to 9v battery with LED lights. Built a little frame and stand with some cherry wood and picked up a small table because I'm too old to lay or sit on the floor playing nowadays.

    Very nice. Excellent work.

How do you get the metal upper tray so shiny? So far I can only achieve a clean light grey finish ....lol

Thank you SibSr, I used Mother's Mag & Aluminum polish with 4/0 steel wool on the aluminum upper tray and a lot of elbow grease! I haven't seen too many with the aluminum tray, so I really wanted to see if it was possible to put a shine on it.
Don't look too closely at the picture of the tray or you'll notice I screwed up and put the green ball thingy in upside down so the payout balls didn't flow in to the tray correctly. Fixed!

Thanks, I wish I had some carpentry skills, I'd have like to make a nicer stand for it, but this works and the cherry wood matches some of our furniture, so wife likes it too.
