Default Trying to figure this out

Just got a hold of A Nishijin. Never worked on one before and I can’t for the life of me figure out where the losing balls go once they exit the playfield I see they go out into a catch basin
and then over to a small two row plastic section above a bell can anyone tell me where they go after that. Thanks in advance

Now going from memory, becaue I haven't look ed the back of a Model A for about 10 years

losing balls. exit the playfield to the second lower ball tank. Then the 2 row plastic guide with the spring lid. sorts the balls into 2 nice even rows.
then they go into the seaswaw jackpot mech.

If the nails are set about right. (For home use) Your constant firing and jackpot wins will balance out and it will keep self replenishing. Without having to draw more balls from the top tank.

    They don't have to

I think there is an overflow down to an area on the left hand side.

The model A recycler is really one of the best for home use. Because it's a lot more self sufficient than other vintages.

Exactly, the overflow losing balls fall down to the left rear side where the silver colored metal bracket sits in you picture. Just get a plastic catch basin of some sort to keep them corralled.

Just clean it really good and start playing it.

This was the first recycler I restored.
