I just finished up the second and last (for now) in the series of custom anime lady playfield replacements/custom restorations , using an ebay sourced vinyl hood wrap in custom made. I also did some more experimentation with Keda wood dye to get some cool colors and effects in the wood for the cabinet; it fades from deep blue to dark purple. I like this cabinet way better than the last pink one.


Only thing I need to finish it off 100% is a model a metal track cover and dust shield for part of the payout mech. (Let me know please if anyone has one for sale! )

I’ve Jerry rigged up a custom cardboard solution until someone can find a factory track cover?

I went to the hardware or Hobby store and got sheets of aluminum and brass and work gloves and tin snips .

I made , as you did a cardboard pattern then transferred the pattern to the hard material ,cut it out then with file and green scrub pad did the finishing touches .

Big thanks to Wayne-Ooo sending me this part it’s now 99.5% complete! Just missing a dust cover over part of the lower payout mechanism; nothing vital for operation. I’ll just have to dust/clean that area more frequently.
