Help with CR Madoka 1/319

Hello,

I'm a new pachinko owner with a few questions about my first machine, a CR Madoka 1/319, if that's the correct name.

My Question: Every character on this machine has a level, and you can change character in the settings. Now every time i reboot the machine, the level resets to 1. I am wondering if this is intentional, or maybe the RAM resetting because the CR2032 battery on the back is (potentially) empty.

Furthermore, if i alter a setting (like changing character, if I leave the machine idle, I get a pop-up asking if i want to reset the current settings. Weather I pick yes or no, the pop-up will come back after a minute or so every time.

I However do not have the manual of the machine atm, and would rather not touch the back to for example replace the battery if its not required.

The level might be intentional but I'm not sure. Furthermore on booting the machine it states on a black screen withe the usual boot up deafening 'alarm': "Power is being restored please wait" According to google translate

Hello DawnZ and welcome to the group

I don't have the same machine but I do get the pop up message of the yes/no to reset on a few others. This is common and (on mine) if you just continue playing the prior change are still intact. Also the machines do revert back to the starting stage once the power is turned off. The startup message is common with the alarm.

Some machines also offer a QR code within the menu options which allows you to restart at a saved level. You need to enter a code at startup every time to change the level. Coupled with an app ran thru Japan you can see your stats and get the codes for saved levels. While the codes may be usable for a long time your stats may reset after 24 hours. This is how it works for my Girls Und Panzer.

Thank you very much for the replies! There is indeed a QR code to the app in the settings, this all makes sense as different people need to be able to play the game I guess.

I will try out the app tomorrow as I don't want to wake up the people nearby but im pritty sure you are correct, Thanks! ^.^

Have a look at this thread and the info shared by VideoRyan in entry #27 for the app he found to work. It works well on my android phone.

Hmm, it looks like I'm unlucky, ive got the APK but it says the app went out of business in 2020 and just redirects me to the site, thanks for the help though

Are you using an Apple or Android cell phone? Or laptop?

But small status update and good news, Apparently i needed an apk from pachilog and not the madoka one specificly, maybe i didnt read far enough into the thread. In any case after getting the apk, a lot of japanese translations / registration and so on, I got it to work, data is being saved so i can play properly now \o/

Although I do think my neighbours if i continue playing at 23:00 lol

I get this to install, but when it loads up, the screen is just black. Any idea what I need to do on my Pixel 6a to get this working?
