Default New to me Sanyo missing parts

Hi all, I was recently gifted this Sanyo machine, a Comet II I think. All the tracks are pretty dirty, but those will clean up fine. The playing field doesn't have water damage like my 2 Nishijin machines do. The mechanics seem to work OK, but as you can see, it's missing the covers off the back which route the balls on a payout and when the dump lever is activated. Also, as expected, the track cover is missing, but I can probably rig something up there. Are there any leads where I might be able to get the missing pieces?

Thanks for any help you can give,

    Tim Reidy

Cool looking machine! The parts might show up on eBay eventually; or you just have to wait for a cheap parts machine. Or you can just rig up a replacement; cardboard or plastic cut to fit would keep the balls in it; not pretty but at least it would be playable.

    Very colorful, clean machine.

My first purchase was missing most of the back plastic covers--I had no clue never having seen a pachinko before. I have made temporary cardboard covers and will ultimately trace those onto clear sheet stock, like most front "glass" panels are made of.

Get some large sheets of card stock, or cut up some shirt boxes. I used a hole punch to punch holes where the screws go. Rather than make the whole cover at once, small pieces and tape them together as you go.

mine was also missing the ball chute cover. every once in a while a ball or two would pop out.
I tried to make a plastic cover, but it was too difficult to get the right shape.
I thought outside the box (chute) and used a piece of expanded aluminum screen. It is easily cut, contours as needed, and is fastened with existing screws.
    Looks good too. Job done.
