Change credit value on Daverob dongle

I am trying to change my Namco Collection to take $1 per credit instead of 25 cents per credit and I have no idea how to do this. I can't figure it out from Dave's website.

I want it to take 4 quarters for 25 balls instead of 1 quarter for 25 balls.

As far as I'm aware. You can only assign an amount of balls per credit. Not how many impulses make a credit. This would normally be done by the coin/note validator. If it's something semi home made. You might have to build a basic circuit board to output one for every 4 inputs. Of course if some one were to put in 2 then walk away. It would throw the count off for the next person.

Drunkenclam is correct. The external input of the dongle can only be set to award a number of credits per pulse (coin), and not a number of coins per credit. It would be possible to add this as an additional feature, but it's never been requested before (until now!).

I'm intending to make some changes to the parts of the firmware that read the external inputs (making it an interrupt driven background task, rather than 'polling' the input in the main execution loop). So it's possible that it would be a simple change to add this as a new feature. But my rate of progress with software updates is very slow at the moment, so don't expect this any time soon.
