    Question Lord of the Rings

    Newbie here....
I just bought a lord of the Rings Pachinko and was wondering if anyone has one and knows how to turn the ashtray right side up. A technician from where I bought it said to pull it out to turn it but that did not work and I am afraid it might be broken..
    Thanks....

it could just be hanging up a little.

if that's your only problem you are very lucky.

none of us would ever think of using the ashtrays on our machines.

I didn't plan on using it. Was just wondering how it worked. So, is the correct operation of it to pull it out and turn it ?

    Thanks...

    Try pushing it... not pulling.
It should click and pop out. Then you can rotate it to ashtray up, and push it again to lock it.

If it does NOT click and rotate when you push it, check to see if it's been locked into place from the back. There is a lever that you can use (right behind the ashtray, of course) to lock it in one place. This is how I have mine set up, just so nobody gets the crazy idea of using my beautiful toy for their butt.

I'm curious... what dealer did you buy this from?

    Wow !!!!! Cooooooooool !!!!!!!!

You were right!! There is a screw that holds a sliding plastic bar in the back that locks it in place. I loosened the screw and slid back the plastic bar and it works now. Push the ash tray in and it pops out and you turn it and push it back in to lock it. It wasn't broken and works fine.
    THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP..

No problem. Welcome to the forum.

So, what do you think of the machine? Have you hit a "fever" round yet?

Thank you for the Welcome !!
This is the first Pachinko I have ever owned and I think it is GREAT !!! I am a die-hard Lord of the Rings fan and it is very cool watching the videos and glowing ring. I have only played it for about an hour so far as it just arived Thursday and there was a couple of times where it hit a fever round but I don't know what to do... Should I keep shooting balls when it does this?? It is too bad there isn't a manual specificaly for this machine that explains the gameplay and such.
I am very happy with my machine though and it looks almost brand new. It only has a couple very minor scratches. If I could find a purple touch-up paint I could fix those easily.

    Ring...
When you hit that fever, the trap door at the bottom will open. You must get balls into that door to keep the fever levels advancing. There will be 15 rounds total, as long as you meet the requirement of getting a minimum number of balls in the door it will keep progressing through the fever. For a LOTR fan or not, that's an experience to behold! The scenes and orchestral sountrack during the fever are captivating! They'll blow you away even more than the power on sequence (which I'm sure you've already seen a few times? )

At the end of the fever, you may see the screen, "To Be Continued". If you do, keep playing. Yet another fever is just around the corner!

You may also see "Chance Time" at the end. This will give you increased odds at another fever, and you'll also see the tulip (flippers) stay open longer than usual. Keep firing balls! The spins will play much faster, but because of the open flippers they will be easier to produce.

The other day, my daughter and I hit four fevers and two chance times within a period of an hour. The machine went cold for two days, until it finally hit again yesterday with two fevers.

    Welcome to the addiction! :smirk:
Now it's time to buy more balls.
