Biohazard Pachislo hangs in maintenance mode/black screen

Hello all,

one thing in advance: I am completely clueless ^^

But now about my problem:


I started the pachislo

and got an E4 error. I found in some manual that it is probably a RAM error,
and as a solution I should reset the machine.

I did that and the techno-error-message was gone.

Now the device starts with a black screen, and when I press the (ok) button right next to the lock, the maintenance menu opens.
I can navigate here, but when I leave the menu again, the screen remains black.

Does anyone have an idea what this means and/or what I'm doing wrong?

first off im more oa a Pachinko kinda guy but wanted to say

Welcome to Pachitalk

it looks to me you are sill in odds change mode.. my guess is your in those menusmaking changes and have made changes and contradict one another or you have not completed the correct selections.. can you read the Japanese text/options your changing?

Hmm.. but wouldn't it be very unusual if after a reset the settings would contradict each other? i jumped back and forth in the menu items to demonstrate a basic functionality =D

Got it fixed in the meantime, it was a simple user error . After some hints and the reset-routine described in a yamasa-pdf, everything is back as it should be. See you there, and thanks again for the kind welcome.
