Default Basement battle-which one should I buy

First up, it's this Eva. Big screen, fan that blows on you, cheap, not liking the theme and music.
    https://www.a-pachinko.com/SHOP/bisty205.html

Namco Collection is next. Really liking the music and the theme, not too much more expensive but the screen is a bit small.
    https://www.a-pachinko.com/SHOP/macy214.html

And finally, Garo Collection. 2 screens, massive, does a lot of cool stuff, good music, almost triple the price.
    https://www.a-pachinko.com/SHOP/SANSEI215.html

Which one of these 3 machines is the best for the price?

First pick for me would be Eva. 2nd would be Namco. Since you don't like Eva.. then Namco it is.

I think I'm going to regret not having a big screen if I go with Namco, but I guess I really don't have a choice anymore. Namco Collection it is!

think the screen size is bigger then it looks in picture, the pacman and dig dug guy are not where they stay during normal play

I guess looking at some play videos would be beneficial. Rather than screen shots.

Namco Collection for sure out of those.

Eva is a 1/319 and will have long dead patches, not good for a home machine if you're looking for action. Also it's a fairly basic game with the mechanics behind everything much like a Sea Story. You get all the cool reaches and that as well but it's not got the depth during the Rush modes. If you like Eva, youll enjoy this. Not many moving parts though if any on this game. Good if you don't want to worry about maintenance. Very very smooth screen and display. One of the best I've seen in recent years.

Namco is a 1/89 so you'll get a lot more wins, not huge ones though. Strings you along with scoring and you're pretty much guaranteed 4 bonuses each win, with the Koatari rush in between. Relatable theme of course! You get to choose which game you want to play during the rush too. Screen's not the biggest in comparison to the other games, but I find it's big enough. Also remember that these pictures neglect the fact that the screen is more set back than is made out to be. There is also a 1/159 version in a blue frame.

Garo you're getting what you pay for in terms of interaction and moving parts. IMO though the Sansei games like this feel a bit clunkier with regards to their screen. The Eva is butter smooth and Namco can be at the right time. Obviously it acts a little jerky on the game in question due to it being based off 80's arcade classics. This one is also interesting as it's a machine with different settings (1-6). This was a gimmick that some machines had during (I want to say) 2019 but didn't really catch on. As a player in the wild I didn't like it, but it would work better for a home machine.

(I have played Namco and Eva but not Garo....Not really interested in the theme.)

Did a little more digging and 2 new contenders have entered the ring.

Older Garo comes in first. Big screen, not too many moving parts, good price. The spinning animatronic that drops down from the top might have issues though.

And this massive one. Biggest screen out of all of them, if the top part moves that might be trouble.

have you looked on facebook, north american pachinko club, Karen has her stock updated, also plasma pachinko infusion, mordern pachinko have websites here in the states, watch video of games on you tube, we all can give you advise, PekoJPF plays games in Japan and the rest of us either own, want, do research, read the monthly post listed by MrGneiss, you can keep asking others advise, but shouldn't you really only care what you want, if you like the theme, everything else falls into place

Oh yes it definitely moves. With the big Garo you posted yesterday, the top of that opens up completely to reveal his face.

Now if moving parts are going to be an issue, this will narrow your search down considerably.

The issue with moving parts is I want to know where all of them are and what they do, if I don't know if something moves or not or how exactly it moves that's a problem. If I could see Shioki's top part in action it would be fine. The older Garo I suspect has stuff hidden around the screen, ruling it out. The first set of 3 is good unless Namco has more than the 4 I know of.

I own 3 pachislos, no pachinkos. I know the basics of pachinko, but no game specifics and no knowledge of which machines are good/bad.

Don’t let PekoJPF scare you off of any pachinko with moving parts.

I just got a Juicy Honey 2 with a crazy transforming frame and numerous animatronics; I’m not scared… Its worth the “risks” you only live once.

If you are so set on getting a machine with as few moving parts as possible you should be getting Tenryu Infinity; no screens to go bad, only a couple solenoids. Same for Moe Xcite, only LEDs and a few solenoids to go bad potentially.
