    Default Missing Coin Mechanism

Hello!! New here, I acquired one of these slot machines. First it had E6 error code and I found on here how to reset it, thank you for that!! Next problem is actual operation. I noticed the coin mechanism is missing. With that being said, I will start with my questions lol. How do I found out which one it takes? Where do I get one? Ebay? The ones I have seen plug into the door, however there is no open connections on the door at my machine. Thank You Thank You for all your help!!

Also a pic of the entire door and inside of the machine while you are at it. We know quite a bit about these machines but since none of us here designed any of the 10,000 or so different types out there, we need some info in order to help you!

Hello crazylady137 and welcome to the group

Like rockston said, full pictures help more at times. You may have a coinless modification setup to bypass the coin mechanism. Depending on your machine and if you still need one, I have various coin mechanisms fairly cheap but there were many models used across many machines.

Well You are more importantly missing a hopper in that machine as well. I see what looks like
some evidence of it being converted to coinless, which would explain the missing parts
but I can't be sure since I do not have one of those currently.
Maybe someone else here see's something. Who did you buy it from and did
it work before you took it home?

Did the seller not show how to work the machine or not able to? Looks like it was converted as mentioned by rockston. I haven't had one like this but I believe you would hold down one or two of the front stop buttons for 5-20 seconds to have the credits loaded which shows on the front. Otherwise you will need to obtain a hopper and the coin mechanism to restore it to original working order. The unknown coin mechanism would connect to the wire connectors above the open holder in your second picture in your original post.

Also looks like it was converted to support fire fighters. The original artwork was as this with Street Fighter II if you are looking to restore it.

One would have thought a Street Fighter 2 would be more valuable than a generic model.

    Ok, Thank You.

Long story on how I received it. Basically was cleaning out a trailer of my dad's and grandma's stuff and it was in there. So it is all a mystery of if it worked before.

Thank You, I will try holding down the buttons to see if that works.

My dad and his buddy were big supporters of fire fighters and fire trucks, so it makes sense that the art work was changed to support fire fighters.
