I found another motherboard online and should be here by the end of the week.
If it does work I can compare the two and hopefully fix the original.
Back in the 70s I fixed copy machines, then began designing industrial control systems up until I retired in 2020.
Do you know where I could find a schematic? Are any available?
No schematics are available, these are proprietary gambling devices that maintain industry secrecy. The other thing is that they are obsolete to the industry after 2 years, so no parts are kept. Let us know if the replacement works.

I checked around for multiple voltages, which I assume should be used for a computer based system?
The only voltage I could find was 4.78 volts going to the motherboard. The other lines had nothing on them.
I took the power supply out and only found the 4.78 volts coming from it, so I assume the power supply must be bad?
I think I can buy one to use to compare and maybe fix it for someone else and use the new one in my machine.

Please post a picture of the PSU as other models might share it.

I replaced the motherboard and it works great now! thanks for all your help.
The reels do not line up at the right time to display the proper payouts.
Is there a way to align the reels so they display properly?

Well the reels normally have an opto sensor to detect the zero position on each turn. That can't be adjusted. I'm pretty sure if one wasn't working, the machine would shut down with an error. Check the reels for free movement or friction.

    Failing that its either.

    1) the graphics have slipped on the reel (never heard of it happening)
    2) the machine has been taken apart and the reels put back in, in the wrong order
    3) the new motherboard has a different program or game on it set for a different reel set.

If these reel images match yours then this is the correct left to right order of the reels. Looks like this set was used in a couple Super Reno machines.

I would suspect the motherboard I got was using another program.
Would it be worth it to switch PROMs?

Go for it, but before you do, I would put the old mother board in it one more time in case it "magically" starts working again.
