    Default Sankyo electric pachinko

Hi, I am brand new to pachinko and have been hooked by buying my 1st machine! I would 1st like to thank you for letting me join your forum. But to my dismay its not working properly. It is a Sankyo Fever Fever Fever I think form the 80s. When I plug it in it lights up, wheel in middle starts to spin but then it just goes into a buzzing mode, also the 2 digital counters remain on zero. I can still play the machine while this is happening and disconnected the speaker, I can manually get all the slots to payout and the electric launcher works fine. I have checked all the circuit boards nothing seems to burned out or damaged. I dont know if maybe there is a way to reset the computer or something else I could try. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On the back of your machine is there a switch that turn on and off the machine ?

thumbnail_20220108_122655.jpg Ok pictures are in, there is no on off switch just plug in. Some of the green part on the back of the circuit board seems a little bubbly but no paths look burned out. The # on the circuit board is FEG-A 7224. Hope this helps, Thanks again!

The name is in the bottom left corner on the yellow stripe.. It looks like its called Fever Gold I from 1987!!

You can use this フィーバーゴールドⅠ to search on google and youtube!!

Here is a video of it being played (without balls) at about 54 seconds in I here a buzzing that is normal I think..is this the same as on yours or is yours different??

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9S4u289foRQ

Look at the video to see if its acting different to yours and how!!

Wow! I wish it operated like that not even close it lights up for a few seconds then just pretty much goes blank. The buzzing sound is just a long annoying one nothing close to beeps and music. I noticed a couple of things last night while I was examining it if you look at he picture of the back of the machine where the AC24V power wire plugs in someone put a jumper wire from there to the left of it into the plug but under that plug it says 8V I removed it and the machine actually lit up a little better but when I put back I got nothing. I have a transformer to 8V going to try that this morning. Also on the circuit board back picture one of the micro processors right in the middle is a SN-76489AN the lettering is brown compared to the others that are all white (maybe got to hot) that I think is actually the sound processor for it hence maybe why its buzzing non stop. Is there any chance in your experience that this whole new board could still be purchased? Thank you much for finding the info you sent me! Would love to get it operating like those videos.

The Sankyo I have that looks similar, has a DC motor on the back side that runs constantly when the machine is on.
The motor makes a constant buzzing noise whenever the machine is running. It's located on the lower right rear of the machine. I can't leave it on all the time because it's too noisy.

Pachis where only meant to be used for a few years in the parlors then went to the dump, so the only way to find parts is to find a donor machine or find someone that is parting out a machine..

I figured that was the case after browsing the pachi website. I will just have to adapt and initiate the old saying necessity is the mother of invention!

I wont, the problem solving part and gaining new knowledge is a lot of the fun for me! Its already working better, I replaced the old transformer with a new 120V to AC24V and so far seems to be working a little better. Going to replace the sound processor next and see what happens. I will keep you posted on the progress, parts coming from China so be a little bit.

I have a similar board and my machine won't activate solenoids or lights either unless it is the "low on balls" light in the top left. The payout motor runs constant as well since it bypasses the control board too. If you want to call me, I can PM you my number and we can troubleshoot together as we may be able to help each other get our machines going. I can use a DMM with guidance.
