Default your machines, where did you get them

Hey all, thought it would be interesting to find out how each person got there machines (or total cells)

total machines/cells 29, sold 3, so 26 owned right now

from members for sale listings = 9
    from craiglist = 9
    from importers (Frank 5) (Rita 1) total = 6
from asking a member to sell = 4
    from ebay local = 1

    sold on craiglist = 3

Had to look at machines and figure out how I got it
Please share how you got your machines

The ones I had I got from a thrift store 'recycle shop' as they say here. I was very fortunate that where I lived they had this place, as I've never seen slots in other shops since.

I probably have gotten a third of mine direct from Japan, a third from other current/past members and a third from local sales.

Oh, its been so long..Let's see..

I got my first one, a modern, from Game Room Warehouse (I think??) No, I ordered my first from them, but it was out of stock so I got a similar one on ebay from that Texas Auctions store that was around a long time!!

I was gifted moderns from members, Arby, Logicprobe, Roadchild and Sid..

I won my Power Roulette from a contest here on PT..

And when one of the first PT Mods died suddenly, his stuff was auctioned off (ebay??) and I got one of his moderns with cab and lifter. It was my only local pick up at the place doing the auctions..

I got my two vintages from ebay..

And my other moderns and my pachislo I think I got off ebay, but I can't remember because all the pachis stores back then sold on their sites and ebay so I may have ordered some direct from their sites?? Man, I am bad at remembering this stuff!!

I have flood damaged (yet restored and working!) Arby machines (owned by Compirate as well) Star Wars and Apollo 1.

Too many other machines to list; Craigslist used to be the place to find them years ago; now it’s FB market place. Particularly vintage machines.

Clover used to be my main vendor source for newer machines, as I bought 2 machines and a cell from them; but new inventory dried up….so now it’s JT Comatz at 7 machines and a cell.

Yahoo auctions is my preferred marketplace for cells though (or JT Comatz if they have that particular cell; better prices!)

my first was a vintage flipper pachinko as a kid for Christmas. The next was around 2003 when seen some vendor selling pachislos in a vacant business lot. I bought the old version of the Azteca. It was fun but being a low end model I decided I needed one or two more for variety. Then came the Internet, old version of Pachitalk, and then present day Pachitalk. The rest is my addiction supplied by Internet, craigslist, and members. I have and had to many machines to list.
