Hi everyone! New to the forum here, as I am trying to start collecting some Pachislo and Pachinko machines. I have been doing the best I can for research, and not wanting to break the bank to get started but I came across this one, and I love Street Fighter! But I see the same machines online through a few retailers and a few on eBay alone going for the same price or more, but charging an arm and a leg for shipping (I get it, its coming from overseas).

Is there a catch im missing? Are they just being kind on the shipping? Any tips would be appreciated. Thank you so much!

In my mind, the shipping is far to cheap. Of course. as local pick up isn't an option/ they may have hidden half of it in the buying price. Seller has some interesting feedback on certain items. Implying that either sometimes slow to ship and different items arrive. As to reasons for this. Unknown. I didn't go to far back. But I didn't see a feedback on a pachi machine. But feel free to check harder than me.

Caveat emptor! Shipping alone is way more than $500 now for newer heavy pachinko/pachislo. Karen at JT Comatz has been on top of providing good prices and cheaper bulk shipping prices by the pallet for the recent group FB pachinko club purchases. Less than $200 per machine. Air shipping is still very expensive now.

The good thing about buying via eBay/PayPal is that you can file a claim and get your money back with minimal headaches if the seller does not ship or pulls anything shady. My guess is that they didn't mean to list free shipping, but you really don't take a lot of risk if you are willing to let $550 ride for a month or so while waiting for the shipment to arrive. I bought a similar listing about a year ago and the seller for my auction contacted me and stated that they don't ship pachinko machines and that someone had listed it mistakenly (probably should have only been listed on Yahoo Japan). The seller apologized, cancelled the auction and promptly returned my money. Your mileage may vary.
