    Default Transformer questions

Out thrift store shopping, I found this thing. No cords for the 4 conductor twist on connector. No external amperage ratings. I plugged it on, twisted the knob, watched the voltage go from 0 to about 18VAC. So, I paid $10.00 for it. It is very heavy and has a thick dteel case. Upon opening it, it appears to only have a 2amp rating. That transformer os pretty big! The limiting factor seems to be the big coil that adjusts the voltage. I couldn't pass it up for 10 bucks!
My question is...how useful could this be for pachinko?

It is not useful at all. These machines require 24 VAC with output capable of at least 5 Amps.
