S&R Garo only partial lights

So I have a R&S or S&R frame with Garo. The lights in the buttons etc all work but the surrounding lights does not. I thought this was just until I've gotten to a certain stage but even during bonus theres no lightshow.

I can't even find what frame I have on google picturesearch so I will just make a short video later tonight to showcase the issue. The frame is in a prohunter cabinet and some modifications has been done to the original wiring (I think)

Where do I start? Is the JSTs for front lightning always the same or always random?

Maybe this frame is just dull AF? I acutally don't mind it if it was intended, just seems kind of bland compared to my other machines

UPDATE:
I don't have 18V which I guess is needed for the lights? Does anybody have the manual or pinout to the PSU on the "soul metal" frame?

Short of checking for fuses in the main psu. not sure. of course , chack and reseat cables that may have been affected with age and transit

Yeah, I need to find where the 18 rail begins and where it craps out, it does not reach the lamp control board, I know that much, reseated everything and it looks farily clean. Thanks for the feedback.

Does anybody know if there is an option to turn of excessive lights for use in an arcade/reststop for example? I think thats the issue here but I don't have the manual for the game either.

I took out the lampcontroller board and nothing looked odd. Also tested all transistors on the PSU and they seemed OK/spitting out voltage.

Any input is appreciated.

Anybody who can provide a manual in PDF format will get 50 USD PP FF as a thank you.

This is driving me to the brink of insanity. I send an email in japanese to R&D but havent gotten as much as a "F off" in response. Still have no lights on this machine and a dead 18V line on the ligh distribution board.

Does anybody want to take a stab at guessing what the issue is?
