    Default Lock mechanism removal

I have two games where Id like to replace the lock, but they are the kind where the lock rod is soldered to the latch mechanism. I tried removing the entire mechanism with no luck. If some one could help me out on how to remove it, I can then start to annoy you with replacing the locks I have the machines open and its just an aesthetic issue. Thank you

I have not seen a soldered lock. Can you upload some pictures (max 2mb per pic) what's the make.and model of machine. Etc.

It’s only letting me load one pic and the file is too big 5 mb. I don’t know how to load pics. One is a Richman A type. The other has an aristocrat tag and says B type. I was told most locks are two screws to remove but some are soldered and you need to remove the entire mechanism. It looks like mine are that type.

Well. If using Microsoft pc. I open it in paint. Then select stretch/shrink ratio and reduce the size that way. Maybe select 50% then save back to pc or override original image. Then try. Or on mobile phone. Email it to myself and select reduce image size option before sending. Then save the email attachment when it gets delivered to you.

Well yes. That cam has been soldered.to.the cylinder. Never seen that myself before. What machine is it from. Is there any marking on the front of the cylinder. If you just need a key. There are other ways to do it

I own 3 machines, and the lock mechanisms are all the same. I have them all opened and rigged to not lock, but Id like keys. The baseball one needs a key, ultraman got drilled out before I bought it.

Need to find either someone breaking a machine or I'll check out some databases later to see what I can find. But end of month admin comes first.

Thanks. I’ve seen them on line for $70 but I figured I could do better taking it apart and trying to replace just the lock. But I can’t get it out. Something else is holding it in and I didn’t want to force it. Hoping someone had some experience taking it apart.
