Default Looking for a bit of insight 1992 Sankyo Hi-Tech Pachinko

Hello, Everyone! I'm slappin' new around here as I have a couple of questions, but I come with much interest in helping when I can. I've restored a 57 Nishijin to wonderful condition and of course found a beautiful example of another not needed pachinko machine on FB Marketplace that is lightyears more technical. Got it home, cleaned it up as it needed zero 'restoration' and here we are. No sound. I've troubleshot enough to find out the CN2 on the distribution board (which is where the speaker directly connects) outputs no distinguishable voltage to the speaker. My question here is: Are there schematics for this board type? I assume they used them for at least that year or era? If it does play sounds/music I assume it's going to be wildly ostentatious, but the kids would still love to hear it as I'm sure it's something simple to fix in the way of a e-component.

Dan is the only person to have some sort of easily (and quickly) found video HERE and I see on the distribution board there's a pair at the top left with a Label (red arrows in screenshot) that I do not have. Curious to what that would go to also.

Other than the sounds not working, it's a blast and the 'wow' factor is lightyears over the 57'.

    Any tips are appreciated!

My own tip: For anyone that is here for this machine, I HIGHLY recommend turning the potentiometer on the backside of the shooter motor I believe all the way left. This grounds out the signal and touching the ring is not needed. What a lifesaver as I was looking for a hack to ground that ring out. Whew!

Hello BLawicki and welcome to the group

In my pics below you will see the red and white speaker wires come from the lower control box which wraps around to the right side into a connector. This feeds thru to the lower front door where there is a volume switch and the speaker is mounted behind it inside the door. If you haven't opened this lower door yet then you first open the glass door. At what was the lower right corner of the glass door there is a metal tab to push down to release the lower door.

As for the wires on the upper board in back, I too am missing them. Perhaps it went to another option not on our machines or to a front door alarm which some models have.

It’s call Orochonpa 2, it’s based off of Japanese folk singer Kawachiya Kikusuimaru, and plays a song of his during the fever; you are missing out if no sound! His face is on the spinners. I sold mine a few years ago.

Hey ALL! Thanks for the tips! I did figure out where it went after some disassembly and even took the liberty of taking the volume control out of line to more or less test the output...maybe it just didn't have power unless sound was streaming through it, but no dice. I'll check out that video and see if I can backtrace the culprit! Neat to know where that guy's face came from as I was like "who's this rando-dude on the spinners?"
