Fruit and Vegetable Themed Nishijin
Just wanted to share my newest acquisition:

Probably overpaid a bit at $120 but it was in nice shape, came with 300 balls/transformer and was right down the road from me so I figured why not. Also I didn't have any machines from this era.
Gameplay is pretty basic, just hit the center pocket to activate the reel. Occasionally the game will give you a special chance and extend to a 3x3 section where you can 9 lines as well as other special chance features. It did require some maintenance to get fully functional, as the previous owner clearly had no idea how these machines worked. Firstly, the center tulip was intentionally stuck open with a piece of paper, making it significantly easier to hit a spin. Thankfully there was no damage to the tulip after it was removed. Second, the power adjustment on the knob was basically set to kill. So no matter where you were on the knob it just blasted the ball right. This is probably why the owner decided to prop the tulip open since he could hardly aim. Finally, there is a small part of the payout mechanism behind the power supply that was completely dislodged. This prevented the machine from ever paying out...which makes sense since the owner told me he just got sick of reaching behind to get more balls. He straight up didn't know the machine was ever supposed to pay out more balls
Anyway, its fully functional now, got a 16 round fever that paid like 3000-4000 very quickly. I don't think any of my other machines pay out nearly as fast as this one does. Glad to have it in my collection!
