Default Feeder tray for 74 Sanyo no fire Panchinko

Hello and good morning. First off let me introduce myself as someone new to the hobby. I come from the pinball resto world and had to get one of these pachinko machines. Sadly for me the panchinko machine I bought came without the feeder tray (it was broken off). Unlike pinball I’ve had a difficult time finding this part. Is there anyone out there who has a 74 Sanyo no fire! Feeder tray? If not does anyone have any advice as to how to make the proper contacts? Surely I’m not the first person who’s had this problem. What do you folks do in this situation? I’m sure the fastest solution is to just buy another game however i feel someone created this thing, it deserves another life 😁.

Thanks everyone in advance for thoughtful consideration and hope I didn’t come off as too much of an annoying newb to this community.

    attached are some pictures.

search eBay for pachinko parts. Pay no attention to the name "no fire". Your primary machine identification word will be Comet II (you should also try Comet 2). You may want to call the part an "upper hopper, reward hopper, or reward tray". If you call it a feeder tray...you will likely get a lot of hits for the front top feeder tray.

As I look at your Comet II, yours appears older than mine. Biggest difference I see is...mine has a quick release back. I wondered if ALL Sanyo Comet II machines did this or not. It certainly is a blessing when it comes to deep cleaning!

Personally, I would prefer to repair/restore these machines with original parts. Having said that, the part you need is a dirt-simple box, with a rectangular hole in the bottom.

You can fab-up a part to fit, and it will function just as well as an original.

I only mention that in the event that you cannot find a direct replacement.

That's a good looking machine! Could you post tighter images of the center attraction, please? I've never seen that one...

You will also need a Jackpot Hopper feeder track cover. It's white located on Pachiwall's picture. There's an original transparent yellow one on ebay now, but view carefully the shape and compare that to your Jackpot Hopper feeder's track. It should fit. But confirm with the seller to be sure.
